Start with the base
Every unique links to its base item. The base determines equipment slot, inventory footprint and any class restriction. The Survivors item level is kept separate from the Diablo II source quality level.
Use the right catalog
- Base Items lists all 495 adapted base definitions.
- Unique Items lists all 368 unique definitions and their base links.
- Class restrictions appear on the item and link back to the class.
Understand the tooltip
Base effects are adapted Survivors values. Muted unique modifier lines retain readable Diablo II source descriptors; Survivors may convert or ignore them. Verify the character sheet for the actual result of an equipment swap.
